Overview
Carbonyl is a Chromium-based web browser that runs inside a terminal. It supports most Web APIs, including WebGL, WebGPU, audio and video playback and animations. It needs no window server, so it works in a safe-mode console and over SSH. The project says it starts in under a second, runs at 60 FPS and idles at 0% CPU. You can run it with Docker, npm or prebuilt binaries.
