Overview
mapbox-base-android hosts annotation processors and module providers used by Mapbox's modular Android SDKs. It is supporting infrastructure that lets SDK modules be assembled separately, rather than an app or SDK you use directly. Modularization is documented in a separate MODULARIZATION.md file. Installing the SDKs requires a Mapbox account and a secret access token with the Downloads:Read scope. The code is written in Kotlin.
Key features
- Annotation processors for Mapbox modular SDKs
- Module providers that let SDK modules be assembled separately
- Written in Kotlin
- Needs a secret token with Downloads:Read scope to install
Best for
Android developers who want to understand how Mapbox SDK modules are wired together. Most app developers will use the SDKs rather than this repository.
