Overview
geojson-vt is a JavaScript library that slices GeoJSON into vector tiles on the fly. It is mainly meant for rendering and interacting with large geospatial datasets in the browser without a server. It was created to power GeoJSON in Mapbox GL JS, and can also be used with Leaflet, OpenLayers, d3 and Node.js applications. Tiles follow the JSON form of the vector tile specification and are simplified for each zoom level so rendering stays fast.
