Overview
pt2itp takes a road network and a set of address points, both as line-delimited GeoJSON, and produces an interpolation network. Address points need a street name and a numeric house number, and the network lines need a street name. It is run from a command line with input and output paths and a tokens file, and is aimed at address geocoding work.
Key features
- Builds an interpolation network from roads and address points
- Reads line-delimited GeoJSON for both inputs
- Expects numeric address numbers; unit numbers must be stripped first
- CLI follows Semver, so breaking CLI changes bump the major version
Best for
People preparing address data who need interpolated address ranges along streets. Non-numeric address numbers cause a fatal error, so clean the input before running it.
