Overview
marknative is a Markdown rendering engine that turns Markdown into paginated PNG or SVG pages without a browser, Chromium or DOM. It parses Markdown into a typed document model, runs its own layout and pagination, and paints each page with a native 2D canvas API. The output is deterministic and suits server-side use. It supports CommonMark, GFM, Shiki code highlighting and MathJax formulas.
