This is a Chinese kinship calculator. You describe a relative as a chain of family relations, and it works out the correct title to use, which helps at family gatherings when relations are distant. The input accepts regional variants of terms, and it can also look up titles in reverse. The script library runs in browsers and in Node.js and is installed from npm as relationship.js. Demo pages for desktop and mobile are linked.
