Overview

HomeTube is a self-hosted web app for downloading videos and playlists and saving them in a folder structure that media servers such as Plex, Jellyfin and Emby can read. You paste a URL and get a named, organized file in the right place. It is built on yt-dlp and runs in Docker. Its author also points to a newer platform called Content, and says HomeTube is still maintained.
