Overview
Spec Kit is an open source toolkit that gives AI coding agents structured processes, reusable templates and documented outcomes. It offers three independent entry points: spec-driven development for building a feature or application, bug fixing for diagnosing and repairing broken behavior, and idea assessment for deciding whether an idea deserves investment. You can customize a process or bring your own. It needs Python 3.11 or newer and uv.
