Overview
LongMemory, formerly listed as OpenMemory, is a local-first, self-hosted memory engine for AI agents and LLM applications. It stores information in SQLite and lets an assistant keep and recall facts across sessions, so the application does not start from nothing each time. It ships as one TypeScript engine with an npm library, CLI, HTTP server, MCP support, dashboard and VS Code integration.
