Overview
goose is an open source, general-purpose AI agent that runs on your own machine. It comes as a native desktop app for macOS, Linux and Windows, a command line tool, and an API you can embed. It can install, run, edit and test things, and it is used for code as well as research, writing, automation and data analysis. It is written in Rust and works with many LLM providers.
