Overview

This repository provides a JavaScript script for ProxyPin to rewrite Apple WLOC network location responses during authorized iOS testing. It replaces latitude and longitude fields in the original binary response, while preserving the body format and supporting gzip responses. A companion Leaflet page lets testers choose coordinates, which are saved for later responses. The script runs only through a configured ProxyPin setup with HTTPS capture and a trusted CA certificate; it does not modify GPS hardware readings.

Key features

  • Preserves the original binary response body while replacing coordinates.
  • Supports gzip-compressed WLOC responses.
  • Lets testers choose and save coordinates using a Leaflet page.
  • Adds response headers with status, patched-location counts, and error details for debugging.

Best for

QA teams and researchers testing authorized iOS devices in a local ProxyPin environment. It changes network-based WLOC responses, not GPS hardware readings.
