Overview
e2e is an end-to-end testing framework for web and mobile apps. It solves the problem of writing repetitive UI tests by letting a natural-language goal drive the app, then checking results with locators and assertions in the same test. The CLI creates a project, and tests can run with agent steps that are recorded and replayed when the app changes.
Key features
- Describe a goal in natural language and let an agent drive the app to reach it
- Check outcomes with locators and assertions in the same test
- Use web or mobile engines with Playwright, simulators, and emulators
- Record agent actions and replay them without model calls until the app changes
- Initialize a project with the CLI and example config
Best for
Teams that need to test web and mobile flows without building large custom test scripts. It is useful when you want an app-driven check that follows user goals and can be replayed as the UI changes.
