Overview
Better Fullstack generates full-stack project scaffolds from a catalog of compatible frontend, backend, database, authentication, AI, payment, and DevOps parts. It addresses the work of wiring a chosen stack together by checking compatibility before creating files. Use the CLI, browser-based Stack Builder, or MCP server for supported AI coding agents. Generated projects record their configuration in bts.jsonc and bts.lock.json, which the CLI can use to add, update, or check the setup later.
Key features
- Compose project parts across languages, such as a TypeScript frontend with a Go backend.
- Generate a project with the CLI, browser builder, or MCP server for supported AI agents.
- Check compatibility and reject or adjust invalid combinations before writing files.
- Use the CLI to add, update, or check a generated project from its configuration files.
Best for
Developers who want to combine frontend, backend, and other stack choices without wiring each part together by hand. The browser builder also suits people who want to generate a project without installing Node.js or using a terminal.
