Overview
Lightpanda is a headless browser written in Zig and built from scratch for AI agents and automation. It is not a Chromium fork or a WebKit patch. It speaks the Chrome DevTools Protocol, so existing Playwright and Puppeteer scripts can drive it. The README reports lower memory use and faster runs than headless Chrome in its own crawl benchmark of 100 pages. Builds are offered for Linux and macOS.
