Overview
dblinter is a static analysis tool for PostgreSQL databases. Static checks are common for application code, but schemas rarely get the same treatment, so dblinter connects to a Postgres database and checks the schema against good design practices. Results are written in SARIF format. A configuration file describes which rules to enforce and what thresholds are acceptable. You can run it from a Docker image or directly from source with Python and Poetry.
